Our Team

Robb Tyler

A fourth generation native of Arizona, Robb has worked in Arizona sales, real estate and finance for over 20 years. As the Broker and founding member of Argos, LLC, he was responsible for the acquisition, regulatory compliance, entitlement, construction, marketing and disposition of over 350 residential lots and 1000+ acres throughout rural Arizona. With an initial deployment of over $7,000,000 in more than twenty special purpose LLCs and Dual Beneficiary Trusts, the Argos program of seller financing and carried paper is poised to provide double digit returns for its investors over the course of the next twenty years.

Under the banner of Acer Development, LLC, Robb lead in the acquisition of 20 acres in the east valley and was solely responsible for rezoning and entitling the property into a 102-lot single-family subdivision (Bel Agave) before selling the development to a local home builder.

Building off his experiences in real estate brokerage and development, Robb founded Opus Funding & Investments, LLC, an Arizona licensed mortgage brokerage and loan originator specializing in the placement of private funds, to provide financing for acquisitions and development of real estate across Arizona.

Opus Funding & Investments quickly proved a very successful vehicle for the generation of not only excellent lending opportunities but acquisition, joint venture and development opportunities as well. In order to take full advantage of these investment opportunities for his investors as they arose, Robb founded a new real estate brokerage, Opus Az, LLC.

Robb has also served the community as Scoutmaster and Committee Member to a troop of 65+ boys (the same Troop he received his Eagle in over 22 years ago) and is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Creative Writing & Religious Studies.

Michael Tyler

Born and raised in Arizona, Michael took the opportunity to attend UC Berkeley for college as an opportunity to expand his horizons. There he studied Integrative Biology, Berkeley’s non pre-med biology degree.

After graduating from UC Berkeley, Michael helped to found two startups. The first, Statricks, is a data analytics company that provides users with pricing guides for used goods bought and sold on the Internet. Anything found on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, and eBay is categorized and analyzed to determine the market rate for the good. The second startup, USA Postboks, is a shipping consolidation company for Norwegian consumers. It is a service, which on average saves customers over $100 each time. With both companies being small startups, Michael had the chance to work in varied capacities, developing an assortment of skills in strategic planning, marketing, development, and customer relations.

Wanting to expand on the skills he developed with formal education, Michael left the startups to return to Arizona and pursue his MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, an Arizona institution that has been consistently ranked as the #1 School for international trade for decades and has a strong reputation for ethical, global, business practices. While there he consulted for nonprofits through both the Net Impact club and in competitions. He placed first in every consulting competition he entered.

After completing his MBA in December 2014, Michael went to work for a medical device company, CR Bard, as an associate product manager in the marketing department. There he was responsible for both the marketing of a $35,000,000 project in development for vascular surgery as well as the launching of a diagnostic device for detecting Peripheral Arterial Disease. Both projects being slightly outside the core area of the company and therefore outside of normal channels, Michael found himself responsible for developing supply chain logistics, internal processes, contracts, and sales force compensation in addition to the pure marketing responsibilities inherent in product management. The unwieldy, bureaucratic nature of the company was not a good fit for Michael (14,000 employees) and he left in early December 2015 to pursue other projects in a much more hands on, interactive and streamlined approach.

Having grown up around the land deals and rural development, the real estate industry has always held great interest for Michael. After leaving Bard, Michael went to join Opus AZ, LLC, where he could follow this interest.

In his spare time, Michael volunteers with the Boy Scouts, Project C.U.R.E., and Hands on Greater Phoenix.

Holly Tyler

An Arizona native and autodidact and serial volunteer, Holly’s passion for people, learning and leading has driven her desire to better the community by connecting people.

She’s striven to connect people in her role as President of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at Saguaro High School through many initiatives such as the “Saguaro PTO Thank You Social” (a quarterly event for PTO board members to show appreciation and connect to those who help the school) and the Booster Club Meeting of the Minds (getting all of the disparate booster clubs and other support organizations on campus together to realize joint, collaborative and supportive strategies that could benefit all programs for the first time).

Holly’s dedication to growing community extends beyond a single campus, however.   With her leadership, the Parent Teacher Organizations at the six schools in the Saguaro complex have successfully come together for the first time under the banner of the Saguaro Complex Meeting of the Minds to encourage communication and connections within the complex.

Holly has also served (or is currently serving) as Secretary, Hospitality Chair, Communications Chair, Scottsdale Parent Council, Saguaro Complex PTO Liaison, Saguaro High School Site Council, and Homeroom Parent and wears many of these hats simultaneously.

Holly’s compassion for her community parlays well with her love of real estate. Working in the Real Estate business for over a decade, her experience has included title research, escrow, property research, sales, office management, accounting and administrating a real estate school.

Currently, she is the Office Manager/Social Media Manager for Opus AZ and is responsible for managing basic bookkeeping, filing, social media accounts and consulting on fix and flip remodels and home staging for our clients.
